What the hell are you talking about? Do you look over what you type before hitting "Send"?

Your note, unless it's some deep metaphor, makes absolutely no sense. If you're being literal (and but the way, I don't think you could pull a good metaphor off), your acquaintances are nodding because you're an idiot.
